Review on πŸ₯Ÿ Norpro Pierogi Maker: Convenient Plastic Press for Perfect 7 Ounce Pierogis by Bruce Garner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice but difficult to cut

This is a very good press and when used with a pasta machine there is no loss of dough the width of the Shape is exactly the same as the dough pressed out of the pasta machine. However, one thing is that due to how they are made, dumplings cannot be easily taken apart. So it's a mixed blessing. When using it I thought it was nice to be able to make 6 at once, but with extra out of shape dough it becomes increasingly difficult to work with if you don't have a pasta machine. I also have a large dumpling pan, but it only makes a lot of dumplings at once. So if you don't have enough batter to stretch it all over the pan, you'll need to make more batter. The old way of making them one by one from old glass is slow and laborious. Despite its shortcomings, this small form is worth its price.

Pros
  • Press the dough into the mould, fill with ingredients and close with another sheet of dough
Cons
  • Difficult to say
