read the fine print! not dishwasher safe

Note the small print! do not put in the dishwasher. My daughter put it in the dishwasher and the entire coating came off.

Pros
  • Including recipe and instructions
Cons
  • No insurance

They made amazing ravioli. Raised cutting lines should be.

Excellent ravioli. The raised cut lines should be a bit bigger and thicker so I don't have to press as hard with the rolling pin and my wooden rolling pin doesn't dent as much.

Pros
  • Hand wash recommended
Cons
  • Almost everything available

Save money - use the traditional method

Aimed to save time but proves to be more tedious than the tried and true method (cutting out circles with a cutter). We actually used a Kitchen Aid Pasta Roller to even out sheets to the correct width, which was a real time saver. However, the dough will stick to the press unless you spray generously with spray oil. The dumplings come undone from all the manipulation involved in getting them into the press and then loosening them, so many fall apart as they cook. We've had luck with the ravioli

Pros
  • Can also make pot stickers and filled pastries
Cons
  • A bit low maintenance

Nice but difficult to cut

This is a very good press and when used with a pasta machine there is no loss of dough the width of the Shape is exactly the same as the dough pressed out of the pasta machine. However, one thing is that due to how they are made, dumplings cannot be easily taken apart. So it's a mixed blessing. When using it I thought it was nice to be able to make 6 at once, but with extra out of shape dough it becomes increasingly difficult to work with if you don't have a pasta machine. I also have a large…

Pros
  • Press the dough into the mould, fill with ingredients and close with another sheet of dough
Cons
  • Difficult to say
