It is difficult to wash the sponge after use
everything is fine. I tried it dry, slightly moist and without feces. I have found that this works best with a cleaner. My biggest disappointment is that the sponge itself is difficult to clean. A lot of dirt seems to be stuck on the bristles. I think I actually spent more time cleaning the sponge than cleaning the cage afterwards.
