Excellent Curved Blade Paring Knife

Product Overview: 3 inch curved blade Damascus steel paring knife with Pakkawood handle, sharp fruit knife, perfect for peeling, slicing and trimming This is a terribly sharp, curved paring knife knife, with full-shank blade, hygienic metal bead, Paccawood triple rivets and allegedly made of Damascus steel, although I have serious doubts (see photo). However, it is a nice knife with good balance and weight, it has some weight but certainly isn't heavy or bulky and the handle feels secure in the hand. The curvature of the blade has a distinctive look, but from a functional standpoint it lends itself well to slicing pitted fruit and following the fruit's contours particularly well when you're peeling them. The crease also lowers the height of the blade, and the thin blade profile allows for easy maneuverability and manipulation while cleaning. As such, this is a striking gem of a knife that I highly recommend for its functionality as well as its distinctive features. , beautiful design elements.
