I was really excited for these, but was not impressed. They’re getting returned, so to be fair we never did use them. On first look, the color was different than expected. You can see my photo of the "pink” which honestly reads more like beige. It can lean toward mauve depending on what it’s next to, but definitely is not the versatile color I was hoping for. It’s not a dealbreaker though, and it’s not wildly different than the photo.The real dealbreaker was when I pulled the white pair out of the pack. They are SO narrow! I put my hand in to see how much stretch there was and knew right away these won’t accommodate my daughter’s chunky toddler legs. I also noticed there was some elastic hanging out along the top as well as several spots where the thread was sticking out and kind of…fuzzy? It wasn’t just the normal stray thread here and there, it was like it had got caught on Velcro or something. I pulled out the rest of the socks and noticed that not all of them were really narrow, several looked like they would fit. You can see in my photos where I laid the white on top of the black and then showed them side by side—decidedly different widths.They do feel nice and soft, and the knit pattern of the fabric has really nice details. They’re a nice mid weight, so they’d be appropriate for year round use in my opinion. I don’t know how they’d wash up, but considering the flaws already noted I worry it would not be well. Because 2 out of 5 pair are too narrow to put on my daughter, and one of the remaining 3 is not a good color for her skin tone (the cream/tan has a yellow cast and my daughter has light skin with yellow undertones) it leaves me with only two usable pair. That means they’re not the great value I thought I was getting, so I’d rather find something else.
