The exhaust fan in my bathroom is terrible and there is no window to open. I started using a box fan to dry the bathroom after showering so the towels don't smell. I also didn't want to leave the fan running all day while commuting to work. So this timer is perfect for such applications. When needed, I just press the desired time and with a push of a button, my fan turns off and does its job. In this particular case, a digital timer or scheduled timer would be an issue. This on-demand timer is just awesome. My only complaint is that the light is difficult to see in a well-lit room. Besides, it's great.
