Review on πŸ“Ή Snoppa M1 3 Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer: Unleash Your Smartphone's Full Potential with APP Feature and 4 Working Modes - Compatible with iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S9, and More by Jesse Nell

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This can be your first stabilizer and should only be your first.

Disadvantages: - Best used without a mobile phone case. Anything thicker than a regular gel phone case will not work optimally with the stabilizer as the phone may slip or pop out. I like to keep my phone in tip-top condition and removing my phone case to use the gimbal can be a hassle. (I like to record with my instant transfer, and this stabilizer basically doesn't allow me to). I may have had a defective product, but my gimbal does not work in 'Gimbal' mode. I've already tried recalibrating the gimbal but nothing worked. The app for Snoppa M1 is terrible. The video recording software is outdated and doesn't offer many recording options. The only thing this might be useful for is toggling between modes on the gimbal. Your built-in camera app on your phone is better. Connecting the application to the gimbal is a problem. Again, I may have received a defective product, but the app occasionally crashes and kicks me out, and most of the time it won't connect at all. Pros: - I really like the minimalistic design. It's small and light enough to take with you on any trip. Easy to use. Aside from the awful software (I don't even recommend using the app), this is a self-tuning gimbal with an easy learning curve and very basic features. Unlike most stabilizers, there is no "arm". to cover your phone's charging port so you can charge your phone or connect to an external microphone with a gimbal. Verdict: - Snoppa M1 has a unique and minimalistic design that is easy to use. It's great for travel and for those who record videos occasionally. Build quality is solid, despite everything being plastic, and it's a comfortable weight. The downsides, in my experience, are the software and the app. It needs to be upgraded to compete with today's high-end stabilizers. The Snoppa M1 makes a great first gimbal if you find it cheaper. Seasoned veterans who are more interested in commercial videography should look for a more expensive gimbal. Light. Travel. User friendliness. Coincidentally. About me: I use a Pixel 2 with a Moment device (case + lens). β€” I like making videos on the side and as a hobby, making videos like "music videos". - Video blog type. - Minimal travel.
