Review on XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 1TB M.2 SSD AGAMMIXS11P-1TT-C by Mateusz Mazurkiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

I keep working catalogs of lightroom, as well as a pack of photos that I am processing right now (60-120GB from 1 shooting day). Lightroom began to work faster - this is a fact. I tried to export to the same disk, in the hope that I would see a difference in the write speed, but no . Whether on sdd or on this disk, the export is approximately the same. Put the game Rust on this disk. Launch before appearing on the map - 2.5 minutes. If it will give someone something. On ssd +/- it was the same, I didn’t detect it. Some other projects didn't notice any difference. I have a disk between a video card, a cooler on the processor and RAM (mother MSI Z270-A PRO), the operating temperature of the disk is 40 degrees. For comparison, the temperature of SanDisk Ultra II, on which the system and all working programs are now, is 30 degrees. There was also a problem with activation via ADATA SSD Toolbox (native software). Activation always ended with an error. Most likely, the software developer had problems, because a friend also did not go through activation. Now everything is ok.

Pros
  • Packaging, build quality. Using ADATA SSD Toolbox (native software) - you can easily make a copy of your current drive and transfer to a new one. Extremely comfortable and no hassle. Almost - you need to go through activation, there may be problems with this (further painted).
Cons
  • I didn't notice any difference in read/write speed with a normal ssd. Software tests show a 5x difference with my current ssd. In fact, I have never seen speeds of more than 180mb / s anywhere. Neither reading nor writing.
