If you need magnetic shielding this is pretty much the only option but I want more from this product than just that. The shielded plate you put on the phone isn't one big thing; You must align the plate well or you risk a bad connection to the magnet. The fact that it's a bit thick also means that when your device is resting on the back, it will rock back and forth like a seesaw. I used large non-magnetic screen plates on my phone which not only made it easier to attach to the bungajungle magnet but also made it more secure as I could press the iPhone's home button with one hand without the phone accidentally unplugged from the outlet. Since it was thinner, it didn't wobble as much either. The magnet is well designed in terms of looks and I haven't had any issues with it peeling off in my car although this is mainly due to the fact that it is a magnet that attaches to a steel plate. It all boils down to it working. I've tested other panels that weren't magnetically shielded and my compass failed, although accurate with the Bungajungle panel. 5 stars for this product for me.
