Review on Effortless Control: Westinghouse Lighting 7787500 Wireless Ceiling Fan and Light Wall Control by Tina Vaughn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly so far, relatively easy to install.

Installed on a 6 year old 52" Hampton Bay lighted ceiling fan. Good installation instructions and generally easy installation if you have a deeper protective shell to install the transmitter. Really, any non-flush mount fan should work. My fan has one chain for the lights (on/off) and another for the speed (3 speeds) so I left the speed switch on high and turned on the light before removing both pull chains after installation. The installation took about an hour and a half ;would have been half an hour less as I put the longer bottom rod on top of the fan when I installed this at the same time.So I have dimmable LED bulbs and I've noticed that the dimming function depends on the light button being pressed to dim the light The light is not fully dimmed (switched off t), and the lowest level leaves the light at around 20% I guess. Holding the button down to dim to the minimum dimming level will return the button to the full brightness level if you hold it too long, so this switch design takes a bit of getting used to. But for <30€ it's ok. Bigger buttons would be nice. In general, after a few days of installation, I am very satisfied :)
