Review on Premium Kaytee Wood Pellets Litter: Superior Absorbency and Odor Control by Tony Stone

Okay, here's the deal. I was desperate after moving our home rabbit hutch to our daughter's room to deal with the smell in such a small space. That was never a problem in the living room; However, we added a rescue dog to our family and she was completely focused on the rabbit. For everyone's safety, we took her to a safe room. (FYI that's really not a problem anymore as he just agreed to let her go and ignored her 100% but the girl decided her presence in her room is cool so she stays in her new spot .) We have historically always used paper bedding and have never had a problem with a smelly odor as long as the cage was cleaned every few days. (We use a tray - a small cat tray) However, it did NOT work in the smaller room. It even smelled like cleaning every day. I decided to try these pellets after reading a blog post about pet rabbit alternatives. These things are 100% cool. They do NOT smell when wet, absorb very well, are very easy to care for and overall much cleaner. We started buying them at the local pet food store but I've been really happy with this brand. IF you have an odor problem or your bun kicks your sheets all over the place. I would definitely try that. Make sure you only apply a little over the top layer as they are absorbent and don't work like bedding. Everyone is happy we made this change and after 4 months of using this product I cannot find a single negative point.
