There is + and - on every module except for the three pole switch. However, one pin is brass, the rest is silver. The brass pin is negative and the center pin is positive. The outer silver pin is positively powered and energized when the switch is on. Nothing more to say. The item looks solid and has worked well so far. I attached the plug to the wall, drew circles, and then used a 1 1/4" hole saw to drill holes instead of trying to cut a square.
