Lubrication is important on full suspension bikes. DH/MTB suffer a lot of abuse. When overhauling and repairing your own bike, a good lube makes the difference between a serious restoration and a mediocre one. Many people swear by sticky honey and I think sticky honey is a great product. In my opinion I wouldn't use slippery honey to rebuild bearings/cranks or fork cartridges, it doesn't last as long as military lube in my opinion. MG can be used for anything sticky honey is used for, but it lasts much longer. Operating at much higher temperatures, it is a water/oil resistant, heavy duty, non-melting lubricant that does not react with fork fluids. * MG in binding can be used to replace foam o-rings. Just use the parts you would attach a styrofoam o-ring to. O-ring inserts are usually located under the dust collectors.
