I bought these knowing they might not be suitable for the application I had in mind; it's not like this; However, I wanted some master locks to practice on. But still these are not very good locks to practice picking because these locks are very easy to pick even for a beginner. No need to pick with a sharp tool. You'd think Master Lock would update its locks to fix known security vulnerabilities, but not Master Lock. With the right sharp tool, the lock can be opened in a fraction of a second; Picking is not required. So I have a few more locks to practice picking. I would not use them for any security purpose other than locking the back gate to the back yard. The fit and finish is great; Master Lock spends his time making locks beautiful; but the inside is so much worse that an amateur can handle it in a second. But these locks are really "Made in China".
