As recommended by others, I immediately applied silicone sealant to both the gasket and the inside of the case. After a few weeks I no longer noticed any moisture on the rear bumper of my JKU! I'm pretty sure that wouldn't have happened without silicone. Brightness is what you'd expect, and it's as bright as my $100+ buddies with Quadratec. A month later: They survived very rainy weather. recently and still no moisture. It was a very wet winter and we only had a foot of snow. still no moisture! Four stars for the extra work on properly working and corrosive devices. ** Will be updated if problems arise. **
