Although some reviews said the file was natural I felt I would like it a little more. I have thick toenails and this is fine, a little leveling would be beneficial. I found it ok for my nails although my wife said it was natural for her. The file size and wrapper are also good. It looks like it will hold up well, especially compared to a cardboard sandpaper file. Think of it like a course tool for quick nail removal. You can always use a finer grit file. I am happy with it mainly for its smoothness, size and durability.
