Found this article while looking for something to place next to the driver's seat on my new 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E and prevent objects from falling can . between seat and console. I threw my ID in there and it took me an hour to get it out, the space is so tight with all the wiring etc (wiring and mechanics for power seats and heater). My hand still hurts. This item serves its purpose perfectly. Doesn't interfere with the seat belt but needs to be moved forward slightly for the armrest to move. There's really very little storage space for everything and it's overpriced by about $10, but I find it very useful. Any little extra space around the console and switch helps, the Ridgeline has very limited usable space in this area.
