Fairly easy to install. The screws that hold the brackets to the instrument are cheap, soft metal, and the heads break off easily. I used screws from my own screw collection and they worked fine. The instructions warn against using low power propellers, but that didn't help at all. The fact that I could have used a different screw with a harder metal easily tells me that they use cheap, inexpensive metal for the screws. The actual device works as described and I am happy with it. If they used better gear I would give this product 5 stars.
