easy to install light works as promised but alarm is missing ...... need an alarm like a smoke detector to make enough noise to wake you up….

We needed an alarm we could hear in our house. We couldn't hear the first one we tried in our house. This one is loud enough to get the job done.

The float switch that comes with the kit is not to be relied on. Prior to installation, I tested the device by simulating a low position (dangling it) and then raising the float to its corresponding high position.
