Review on Weiler Brush 4 Piece Drill Accessory by Jared Bradford

Good set at a good price

Wire brushes like this don't really last long - the wire wears out within a few hours if you use it for a long time on a sandy surface such as rusty metal or masonry: That was to be expected. If you have a lot of heavy work to do, these brushes really aren't for the job - look for brushes with a threaded nut that are designed for angle grinders. a good deal when buying, with the right quality so you don't waste money. For ten bucks it's a good set. It averages about $2.50 per brush, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than what you would pay if you bought them individually. Kit here and got a lot. I was refurbishing an old vintage wooden chair that was falling apart and had to strip the old wood glue off the ends of the legs/cross braces from the last guy who refurbished it 40 years ago. This wheel has done a good job and I really don't see much wear after using it for an hour. One last thing to note - since January 2014 when I bought them, the wire brushes have been made in China and the petal wheel has been made in Italy. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese made tools, but I'm impressed with what I've read about Weiler Corporation as well as their own (heavier) line of products. The Weiler Corporation has been in the US since 1944, but its legacy as a brushmaker dates back to 1898 and German brushmaker Josef Weiler. You can't maintain or grow a tool company by making poor quality tools! Admittedly this is a cheap imported kit (although the Italian made paddlewheel is a diamond in the rough) but I'm glad I found out about these guys and am happy to help.
