Although I give the chair a perfect score of five stars, I do not endorse Metta because the company's dedication to its customers is so poor that it does not even exist. The benefits it offers: What a nice, cozy chair. Even within the same brand, I found that alternative models of seats didn't suit me as well as the mesh model. It doesn't look cumbersome like the "bureaucrat" seats I've used in the past. And it feels good to the touch in general. The grips appear like plastic, but they're actually metal. They look like they're made of rubber from above. Distinct drawbacks: The information below pertains solely to chairs manufactured and made available after 09/23/2022. 1. Directions for set-up. The kit has obsolete model-year instructions. Nothing will work if you try to collect on it. I called the factory but they weren't much help either; they suggested to call on Monday because the head of production hadn't yet been hired, but it was already Friday at the yard. Those. I had to leave the chair unassembled over the weekend so I could keep an eye on this situation. When I inquired if we could find a speedy solution, they said someone would call me back in 5 minutes. They didn't return my call. They didn't even bother to return my call on Monday. So, I found a separate website (and everything else that came with the chair was in order) that explained how to put together a brand new version. It all fit together, however there were a ton of extra washers, nuts, and a single bolt. How peculiar. Key holder on the back. Or, more accurately, its lack. This bag is depicted clearly in online photographs from the maker. I called the manufacturer and explained the matter; they said they would get back to me the next day. Therefore, they did not contact us again the next day. A few days later, when I called the manufacturer to inquire about a solution to the problem, I was referred back to the store from whom I had originally purchased the product. When I called, they confirmed that they had also heard nothing from the manufacturer about a bag being produced. It's disappointing when you pay a lot of money for an item and then realize it's not what you expected it to be. After two failed attempts to reach the company via phone, and the manufacturer's apparent unwillingness to do anything to resolve the problem (despite the fact that the company's website features identical images), I have little motivation to pursue a resolution with them. If they were to alter the chair's appearance, they could simply rebrand it as a different model.
