Review on Precision Measuring Made Easy With Micrometer Stand'S Durable Hammertone Blue Base by Todd Lowry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks small and light, but it's weighty and stays where you put it

This is cast iron, and is larger on the bench than it looks in the photo. It's hefty.weighty. But that's so it'll stay where you place it and not move around a lot. I removed the round base (2-M6 bolts). I am using a bench mounting system that this will bolt right on to for my purposes (holding a micrometer for other work besides machining). Even without the base, it's still heavy. I may buy another and keep the base on it for use in the machine shop area. Nice for the price point.

Pros
  • Another great pro of this product is its durability. Made with high-quality materials, the Micrometer Stand's base boasts exceptional strength and resilience. This makes it ideal for industrial, mechanical, or scientific use where reliability and longevity are critical factors. So, whether you're working in a workshop, laboratory, or factory, this stand is sure to hold up to years of consistent use
Cons
  • The product may be too advanced or specialized for individuals who only need to occasionally measure small objects
