You're about to fail (2 stars). I needed 2. I'm glad I have 10. 2 has broken so far, only on initial installation (and not finished yet). The plastic is pretty cheap. It's a bit worrying if they'll survive in the long run when everything is in place, the cables are in place and don't move. Make sure you buy more than you need. Update (May 2017) - Downgraded to 1. They're not 2 inches, they're just slightly larger. My first feedback was about inserting into granite, I think the granite hole was a bit too big hence the "tight" fit (the 2 broke). I just tried putting them in a 2" hole in a wooden table and they are too tight. Any force (or blow) to drive them in will break them (since they are very fragile). If you are looking for a 2 inch table pad, this is NOT the one!
