First it comes in a plastic case but that's not a problem for me. The problem is that there is at least a 1/4 inch gap between the inside of the top cover foam and the bottom foam that holds the blocks in place. This means that when these blocks are shipped, EVERY block comes out of the foam and hits each other throughout the delivery. In fact, only 3 blocks were in the box when I received it and the rest was in a USPS envelope. If you want to transport these blocks other than lying flat, you will need to cut the cardboard thick enough to fit in the case. Much luck! Second, the corner markings are too faint to be seen. At some point I have to engrave each one again. Other than that, it's pretty nice. If you can ask the seller to put cardboard inside the box before shipping and secure the lid with over 1 inch of tape I would recommend that.
