This worked very well. I missed it a bit but that's probably my fault. In the beginning my hair was lilac with a permanent color of Garnier cream color, grapes floating. It faded pretty quickly, so I bought some manic, panicky navy blue and intense purple to cover it up until my colored stripper came in the mail, simply because I couldn't take the embarrassing graying of my hair. So I used these, 2 packs as my hair is very thick and full. I let it sit for about 6 hours. I can't sleep in this stuff and my neck got stiff with all my hair wet and my head in a hat all day. So I washed it early. So 1. Removed the permanent color. This is close to my natural state in 7 years! 2. It removed all the bronze-copper irony and copper harshness of the unfiltered, unsoftened well water I've bathed in for the last few years. He removed most of the semi-permanent hair except for this small piece at the bottom of my hair. Probably because I didn't work full time. It smells funny and that was also part of my rush as I had a headache during that time. the hair does not become overdried, frizzy or sticky. It seems normal if not softer.
