This particular wellness product had the lowest sodium I could find in an over-the-counter dog food. I alternated between this and Wellness Healthy Weight (I like to rotate and add foods to make sure I'm covering all dietary needs and to see if I'm missing anything) and I'm fortunate to have spent 18 months during his heart disease progression. (Many medications and supplements were also involved.) I keep my current older pup on it as well because I appreciate good ingredients and low sodium. Dog food delivery seems to give me more crumbs and I've read more delivery issues in reviews but I don't mind Wellness and will continue to use it. Having dog food at my door is a huge benefit with some downsides, but it's worth it.
