It comes in a small box and I was initially worried it would be poor quality but I was wrong. The parts have been well made from high quality materials. It was easy to set up. Children enjoy looking at their collections of coins and stamps under the microscope. They even figured out how to connect the device to a computer, allowing images to be streamed directly to a large computer screen for later storage. In fact, my kids try to take a microscopic look at whatever they can find in their room while we're talking.
