Review on TORCHSTAR Downlight Dimmable Ultra Thin Recessed by Zane Myers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Still as good good for electrics

Quality bulbs, great value and less labor to install than traditional picks. We bought a warm white light to not attract too many bugs, tied them to a porch light and mounted them to a Skylark dimmer with a switch 8 feet apart. ADVANTAGES: • Price • Good quality • Attractive appearance • Easier to install than traditional boxes. • Brightness • Packaging and shipping were great. CONS: • With more expensive ceiling panels, the additional purchase of expensive outdoor cable is a security code requirement. • Lamp performance (color and brightness) is difficult to compare with other lamps. in existing installations. • The maximum number of lamps that can be safely installed and connected to one switch is not clear. • Bright These were installed in less than a week and we plan to purchase more for the remaining lights around our home. At the same time, there is a search for individual dimmable LED patio and garage lights that better match the overall performance of these particular lights as the LED lights we bought hoping they would look the same when on look good but look completely different when completely blacked out. It wouldn't be a problem, but the light is so bright that we have to dim it. If we knew how bright they actually are, even when completely dark, we'd space them further apart. In the first two pictures the light is not dimmed.
