Description of TORCHSTAR Downlight Dimmable Ultra Thin Recessed

Ultra Slim Design: This LED recessed ceiling light’s ultra-thin construction only needs 2 inches of ceiling space clearance, perfect for use in narrow ceilings that can’t fit a can. The solidly built metal spring clip creates stronger clamping for easier installs and longer-lasting lifespans. Reliable Waterproofing: This LED’s unique waterproof male and female connectors make this perfect for use in wet locations. IC rated, this slim LED downlight’s junction box is thermally protected and can have insulation come into contact with it. This means you don’t have to worry about our recessed lights overheating and causing a fire in the roof or an overhead joist space. Widely Application: The smooth 100%-10% dimming lets you easily adjust the brightness and this light is compatible with most dimmers on the market. The 100° beam angle and CRI of 90 makes this light perfect for use in closets, kitchens and living rooms while the oil rubbed bronze finish is perfect for complimenting solid wood furniture styles. Certified High-efficiency: ETL & ENERGY STAR certified, this light only needs 13.5W to produce 850lm compared to a 70W incandescent light, saving you $1491.6 per set over its 40,000hrs lifespan. The LED’s frosted lens prevents glare and is scratch resistant. Guaranteed Quality: This light fits all new construction, remodels and retrofit installations. The aluminum light body ensures its 40,000hrs lifespan and is backed by a 5-year warranty that gives you extra protection.

Great lamps for the price

Oiled bronze lamps bought for a shed on a barn pole, shed had a steel ceiling. Headlight very easy to fit, clips hold well, junction box is designed for cables, cables come with quick connectors for cables (no cable nuts required). Using 3 for a 32' x 8' area seems to have enough light at night, not too bright or too dark. look nice, installed not long ago so let's see how they perform over time. Would I recommend or buy again

RF Interference - Radio Interference

So far these lights have been working as expected with one major exception. When these lights are on, OTA (antenna) reception is completely disabled from all but the strongest stations. The Q&A says they don't have problems with radio interference, but they do have big time. They also recommend not using the light at the same time as a TV or radio. IMPRESSIVE! I have a whole house full of these lights and Torchstar refuses to help! I see that filters can be added between the power supply and…

Simple - Excellent - Never install a traditional vessel again!

I installed them on a covered outdoor patio. IT WAS NOT EASIER! The inclusion of push-in connectors for wiring makes connection quick and easy. The spring clips are strong - almost too strong - and clear 3/4" thick lumber with ease. If you're installing more than a pair, do yourself a favor and buy a 6.5" hole saw. I have inexpensive plastic ones -Used push in clips. I had no problems with dimming - I bought a Lutron Diva series dimmer and I have no flicker. Installing it meant taking it out of

Still as good good for electrics

Quality bulbs, great value and less labor to install than traditional picks. We bought a warm white light to not attract too many bugs, tied them to a porch light and mounted them to a Skylark dimmer with a switch 8 feet apart. ADVANTAGES: • Price • Good quality • Attractive appearance • Easier to install than traditional boxes. • Brightness • Packaging and shipping were great. CONS: • With more expensive ceiling panels, the additional purchase of expensive outdoor cable is a security code…
