Unfortunately, this doesn't work with Creative SXFI Amplifiers. When I plug it in with no headphones plugged in, I can control the music and volume with the amp, but as soon as I plug in the headphones it stops working. It's probably using too much power, but I'm not sure. I've tested with 250 ohm Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro headphones (which I'd be surprised to find work) and cheap old Apple wired headphones. The SXFI amp isn't recommended for use with an iPhone, but Creative itself says it will work if you use the Apple Camera Kit cable and then a USB-C to USB cable. I was hoping that this little cable would save me this mess. I'm still giving it 3 stars because that product page doesn't list the amp as supported and it "half" works, but not enough to be useful. You can add the Creative SXFI amp to the unsupported amp list to save others the trouble of testing it.
