This cling film is great but the disposable plastic that comes with it isn't. I don't use normal cling film and simply avoided these products to save on plastic. This is a wonderful product for someone in my position. It may not be as strong and unbreakable as plastic, but I'm fine with that. It works well for covering a bowl in the fridge or when raising bread, it can be used alone to wrap a sliced vegetable and it can be used in the microwave. The microwave is by far its weakest application, but it works - sometimes a few holes form. It is perforated on each leg to tear and honestly this is the best way for me to use this brace. Not only does the slider that comes with it not work, it's single-use plastic - an add-on that's totally unsuitable for this. a product for people who avoid plastic! The entire product is also supplied in shrink wrap. They should have at least put a metal notcher on the box and avoided shrink wrap. If you're buying this because, like me, you want to avoid buying single-use plastic, you know it's a Trojan horse and you're going to be throwing away plastic with that purchase anyway. Too bad, because the product has a lot of potential, but it needs to be redesigned to completely eliminate single-use plastic.
