Serious design flaw, best suited for saddlebags

I love the functionality of this box/bag. The shape is very versatile. Semi-rigid walls provide security. And the dry-bag style interior is very nice. The main problem is that it is unfortunately too common in tail bags. The attachment points on the box itself were eaten up too high. This causes the box to flex and compress under the pressure of the straps. Not only does this look silly, but it also reduces functionality. A distorted box with odd dimensions is one thing. A more serious problem is that when the box is squeezed, the straps sag (see photo). After that, you get annoyed at the slipping and sliding of the box while driving and the uncertainty of whether the box and its contents will make it home again. Simply placing mounting points at the bottom of this box would solve the problem. I sent these back and got an Ogio tail bag instead. It works much better on my smaller second place.
