Repeller, BUT since you have to manually activate the ultrasonic frequency, I taped a piece of plastic over the button to keep the switch on all the time, plugged the device into a 110 volt outlet with the included charging cable, and mounted the HOONT to that chain link. the fence separating the houses and AMAZINGLY stopped barking completely.
