Review on 🛠️ Enhance Control and Comfort with SRAM Brake Lever Hoods (No Tape Needed!) by Matt Woodward

If you have Force/Rival/Red 22 (11 speed) shifters this is not the interchangeable hood you want. They were made for older 10 speed gearboxes. If you have an 11 speed transmission you will need the following shifters: SRAM Hoods for the new pair of red shifters (black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008OE8D8K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_1pKNzbJZFKGAG. Sizing is slightly different but they are not as good as the original switches that were on my Force 22. Despite being the same thickness, they feel more like thin silicone phone cases rather than durable and resilient rubber. .In the attached pictures you can see how mine started to fall apart. In the middle of both hoods they split down the middle after folding them up and down a few times when dialing in my fit and needing to adjust the height of my arms. On the right hood I also had a remote trigger for my orp horn and after being there for a while they dug and made a small hole. TLDR: These hoods are for 10 speed derailleurs. If you have newer 11 speeds, buy the ones I linked above.
