The helmet is good but the pads are weak. They are too small for my 10 year old and she is tiny for her age. I would say 4-8 for medium sized kids. Velcro has no material to prevent real skin irritation on the back of the knees, elbows and wrists. But the helmet part is actually a bit big for them, at least hard to get tight enough when pulled all the way to the triangles. Overall it was kind of a waste but I guess you get what you pay for. To protect my child, I put something extra on something safe and comfortable.
