Review on CargoLoc 32513 Trunk Mount 3 Bike Carrier: Convenient and Secure Transportation Solution by Haggis Bryant

The functionality of this item was good for the price, but it has a design flaw that rendered it unusable. The "hinge" that allows the trunk to fold down to fit in the trunk of a car has a threaded bolt that attaches to the handle of the tensioner. The screw goes through two pieces of rubber that form the shape of this product when tightened. I ride my bike six times a week and have to fold the stroller every time. After two and a half months, the bolt broke and it could no longer be used. I took the old screw to the hardware store and was able to reinstall the part, but since the screw was a custom size (to a very small extent), the rubber hinge broke on the first push. Very dissatisfied as this carrier was a decent cheap product for my use but the design needs improvement to actually use it for any period of time.
