The adapter looked perfect. I bought the Celestron made one to fit the C-90, although it cost more; just because i wanted to make sure it would fit. Something is wrong: the slip ring (as it's called in the C-90 manual) doesn't screw in tight enough to hold the adapter firmly in place. It's missing about 1/16" before it starts to clamp the adapter on the telescope. I checked the threads on the telescope and slip ring closely. Neither showed anything abnormal. But the slip ring just doesn't screw in far enough to get the Adapter to mount on the telescope. I read one of the other two reviews and the sender mentioned the same condition. If I'm doing something wrong I hope I can change my estimate. Maybe someone can read this and help.
