I have only found this filling effective for 5 days with 2 cats. After 5 days it was soaked in urine and my dog refused to use it until I applied a clean top coat to stretch it for a week - when the box and bedding were replaced. Large crystal balls rolled and were difficult to sweep. I stepped on the "pearls" many times and they broke on the floor. I used this litter for about 2 years because it was prime. I'm not sure what Prime is, but I want my new throw selection to be Prime. NLM
