Matte screen out of the box. The screen protector is reflective. So I'm worried about glare. Yes, when the screen goes black there will be some reflections, but that's not a problem. Perhaps the glare is more noticeable on a Boxster with the top down. The good thing is that the color/clarity is much brighter than the factory matte finish. I used a juicer to remove large bubbles during installation. As I said, no bubbles remain. I love screen protectors. But it leaves fingerprints.
