Problems after first use less than 50 paintballs shot

Gun and materials looks nice but I took the gun out to test it and I’m already having problem with it re-cocking. I got the tank fill and only shot it a few times, less than 50 paintball and is already having issues. My brother birth is in 2 days which whom I bought it for and it’s not work so he want be able to use it for his paintball event on his birthday. I’ll try troubleshooting it but why should that be done after one use of a new paintball gun
