Review on 🌡️ Lascar EL USB 2 LCD Accurate Humidity Temperature Monitor by John Miranda

This item was delivered two days after ordering via Revain Prime. It arrived very well packaged and without damage. I installed the software and connected the data logger to my laptop and found the setup very easy and intuitive. To test the device, I ran it indoors for almost a month, recording data points every five (5) minutes. Loading and creating data was just as easy, if not easier, than setting up the software. The data has been presented as a chart showing all the temperature, humidity and dew point variations in my home in January 2012. I really liked the results. I intend to use a data logger to record/track the temperature. and humidity fluctuations in the solar oven used to dry lumber at my sawmill. I hope and expect to be able to identify trends that will allow me to determine when I can remove the lumber from the kiln without having to frequently open the kiln doors to check the moisture content of the lumber. I understand that it will take several cycles of logging the wood moisture content versus the data logger results to be able to establish a reasonably reliable relationship between the wood moisture content and the data logger. The data logger looks very well built, works well and I believe this will solve some of my oven operation issues. I hope to start proving it soon. Today I will install a data logger in my oven and start recording data from noon.
