Review on Banjo Brothers Handlebar Bag Medium by Jamie Rogers

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This product would probably be perfect for those who use it lightly around town or on the road.

This bag did exactly what I needed for a 3 week west coast tour and no more. My expectations were low based on other reviews and the bag met them. I was worried it wouldn't last my whole trip but it was cheap so I crossed my fingers and went for it. In the end the bag survived but I wasn't overly impressed and most likely won't be using it again. Take it with a pinch of salt though - my review is for a bike ride; This product is probably perfect for those who use it in small amounts around town or on day trips. Pros: Right size for my bike and not too bulky, handles a decent weight (I had plenty of snacks, tools, maps, glasses, wallet and important papers, buff and gloves and a U-lock), bright red interior makes it easy to close find has a transparent map pocket, side pockets for snacks, water-resistant, snap button that allows you to zip the map pocket to see that it does not tear during your ride, velcro points hold up well, cheap compared to other rod bags. The velcro straps (although sturdy) didn't prevent the bag from rotating forward (and I don't think anything would), wasn't generally waterproof, and even the see-through map pocket does let water through (although I've found this to be the case). turning around helps keep the bag itself drier), side pockets only fit small, skinny Gs (just imagine a stuffed bandana, that's it). This is the only photo I have of my bike. You can see how big the bag is compared to my bike.
