Banjo Brothers Handlebar Bag Medium Review

I liked this bag a lot better after I pulled out the hard plastic liner. I decided to try this type of case because I was trying to find a safe place to store my Samsung Galaxy uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. I could also install a tube and everything for moving house. After attaching the bag to the steering wheel, I firmly attached it with Velcro. So I removed the back pocket and now I'm going to try.

I've always been looking for a bag that's the right size (I bought a small one) that won't interfere with my mountain bike's brake lines. I took out the plastic wrap giving it a rounded shape by pressing it against the lines. It's perfect for my tube of lip balm, my tire pressure gauge, my keys, and my phone charger with spare space. Quality stitching, looks like it will last a long time, the zipper works smoothly.

Well made and conveniently sized to carry a jacket, phone, snacks and a few other essentials while still leaving room for your hands on the handlebars. Comes with two different stabilization straps - one that goes up to the hooks on the ends of the fork, or another that goes around the junction of the head tube and down tube. I needed a new handlebar bag and this seemed like a good replacement. As it turned out quite well. Good design, multiple organized storage pockets and enough space for cell phone, extra handsets, card, keys and towels. The only criticism is the Velcro attachment on the handlebars. It works, but it would help if the tape material was a bit longer. My old bag used clips which were very secure, this one has velcro which is strong but not as secure as the clips. I recommend this bag.

I chose this bag because of the price. This is a small bag. I've used it and it carries my phone, a galaxy s8, and I also put a bottle of bug spray in it. Low profile, doesn't take up much space and can accommodate small items. So it's functional. But boy do I have to wonder if they conducted product testing to get user feedback. Great little bag, I bought this to carry extra clothes on a triple bypass trip (120 miles through the mountains) and it worked well. I have found that the best way to attach it with the fold down bars is to leave the straps slightly slack to allow room for my hands on the tops of the bars - if I tighten the straps all the way the bag is just a little too wide and in the way, but if I let it loose I can put your hands between the bars and the pocket and it's no problem. This bag did exactly what I needed for a 3 week west coast tour and no more. My expectations were low based on other reviews and the bag met them. I was worried it wouldn't last my whole trip but it was cheap so I crossed my fingers and went for it. In the end the bag survived but I wasn't overly impressed and most likely won't be using it again. Take it with a pinch of salt though - my review is for a bike ride; This product is probably perfect for those who use it in small amounts around town
