It's very hot and dry out here in the high desert and the rubber on my wipers doesn't last long...even with expensive brushes, so I've stopped overpaying just to see them dry . They're about $15 a pair and they fit my '99 Expedition and I also put the same brand on my '90 Chevy pickup and when they start to go bad I won't shed a tear because it paid off. These are budget wipers and if you are a fan of wipers you will be disappointed. I only expect a window cleaning from time to time because it never rains here in the summer and they don't do much to remove the snow, but after cleaning they keep the windshield (and rear window) pretty clean without a lot of streaks. No matter how much I spend on blades at least once a year, my rubber is peeling off the ends, rendering them useless on the portion of the windshield that wraps around the side mirrors. So if I have to replace them every year, I don't have to spend a lot on it.
