Works straight out of the box (with batteries installed of course)
I was nervous about how this product would work as it only had 6 reviews. I finally chose this one for the following reasons: 1. Out of 6 reviews, 5 of them were 5 stars and I don't know why the other review gave 4 stars.2. The price definitely made it attractive but also a bit skeptical, and3. It looked like we'd have to replace the remote control. It arrived on time and worked immediately after putting the batteries in. We've only had it for a few days so we'll have to see how it fares over time. It's nice to have a remote that works again without having to be inches away from the TV or press the buttons multiple times for them to work.
