This is our third batch of Calvin Klein boxers for my son. He has some sensory issues, so good underwear that doesn't itch or bother him is hard to come by. The elastic waistband doesn't bother and the cotton is soft. No complaints from the child. As far as washing goes, all of the CK underwear we've bought have held up very well. Doesn't pull, bleed or shrink when washed. Not at all. Some of the old pairs are finally wearing off, but I think our oldest pack is about two years old. So your child is more likely to outgrow them than tire them.
