I love this PureIClean robot vacuum. I did some research and read reviews and of course the price was a factor. I have hardwood floors with carpets. Above all, I need a robot vacuum that can work on both surfaces, although I know that no robot vacuum has enough suction power to clean carpets very well and I still need to vacuum them every now and then. Given what other reviewers have said, I figured my carpets were thin enough not to be an issue. They are 3/8" to 1/2" thick with knit edges. Unfortunately, the bad news is that it doesn't consistently clean from hardwood floors to carpets. Sometimes the cleaning robot can roll onto the carpet, but it works as if its immediate purpose is to move away from the carpet. Now that I said that, I still love this vacuum cleaner. I learned to work with him. In the kitchen, dining room and living room, it will eventually cover all the wood surfaces, bypassing the carpets. I placed some obstacles like rocking chairs and bar stools on top of the mats to free up space on the hardwood floor. Then I activate it via the charger and do not install any programs. It seems to go through 4 different programs and end up with the Edger program. In the bedrooms, as usual, I move some of the obstacles, place them, activate them, close the bedroom door and let them do their thing while I cook dinner. The obstacles I move are obstacles I would still move if I were vacuuming myself, which takes about 3 minutes in the bedrooms and about 5 minutes in the kitchen, dining room and living room. This PureClean vacuum robot picks up an incredible amount of animal hair and fine dust. I'm not kidding, I was amazed at the fine dust this vacuum picks up and makes my dark wood floors shine. Much better than my handheld vacuum. So when I ordered and received the vacuum cleaner, I had high expectations. I was a bit disappointed with the carpet issue but ultimately with a little adjustment on my part the floor is much cleaner and saves time from my daily routine. Before I bought the PureClean robot vacuum, the floors were often dusty and covered in hair, which only added to my daily stress. I'm glad I got it.
