Bought for obvious reasons and I was happy with its function. Installation was pretty easy. Until I put it on I never realized that one of the 4 sides is a solid piece of metal so I had to improvise attaching the elastic cord. When our HVAC company came in for the annual inspection, the guy said it was a good option for year-round coverage. Keeps dirt out, ensures adequate air circulation and wicks away excess moisture during long janitor hours in autumn and winter. I've found that some dirt sometimes collects in the corners where the mesh is less tight over the bead. But certainly nothing that would get into the air conditioning. All fragments of spring trees did not fall into space. Almost certainly, the fall leaves won't be a problem.
