Having only bought Eneloop batteries in the past due to their good reputation but faced with a number of batteries dying prematurely I looked for other options. The batteries came pre-charged when they arrived but to be sure I charged them with my Panasonic BQ-CC55 charger and it took less than 3 minutes for each battery to go from red to green. My initial experiences with these HiQuick batteries are as good if not better than Eneloop's. I recently replaced the covers on the TV and other remotes with HiQuick, let's see if they last longer than the Eneloop. They are rated at around 1000mAh more than Eneloop.
