Review on Improved Endurance Pro 97012248 Range Hood Fan Motor Replacement for Broan Nautilus BP17, 99080492, S97012248 by Aaron Villanueva

Installation was a little painful as I had to change the connector from the original fan to this one. I also had to use some heat to straighten the blades to correct the vibration. This engine has significantly less sheet metal (or are they thinner?) than the stock engine. Not sure if that's the reason, but this one seems less powerful than the original. When I was cooking a particularly smoked dish, I saw the smoke escaping the cap; I'm not sure if the original fan could have caught all that smoke or not. In any case, it hasn't melted or failed yet, so hopefully it will continue to work.
